Information about the course: This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a chainsaw to trim and cut felled/fallen trees of a variety of sizes. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to use a chainsaw in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings. Target Audience: Existing workers in the industry who may require chainsaw training. Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for: FWPCOT2256 Trim and Cut Felled Trees This Nationally recognised course is delivered on behalf of and in Partnership with Health Security Education RTO 40907 Course duration: Face to Face: 1 days (8 hours) face to face training Important information regarding course durations: Course duration's, as mentioned above, are reflective of group sizes of between 4 and 10 participants. If there are less students in a group, you may find course duration reduced. If a class size exceeds 10 participants it may therefore also be necessary to increase course duration depending on the number of participants.
