Information about the course: This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person from a live LV panel. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to be a electrical standby person. Target Audience: Any person who may be required to perform a Low Voltage Rescue or perform the role of standby person for electrical work. The Electrical Safety Act requires that this training be refreshed every 12 months. Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV Panel This Nationally recognised course is delivered on behalf of and in Partnership with Health Security Education RTO 40907 Course duration: Initial Course duration: Face to Face: 4 hours face to face training Important information regarding course durations: Course durations, as mentioned above, are reflective of group sizes of between 4 and 15 participants. If there are less students in a group, you may find course duration reduced. If a class size exceeds 15 participants it may therefore also be necessary to increase course duration depending on the number of participants.
