Information about the course: This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants and children in an education and care setting, including responding to asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies. Target Audience: This course is designed for educators and support staff working in education and care settings who may be required to respond to a first aid emergency involving infants or children. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that this training be refreshed every 3 years. Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded a statement of attainment for: HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
