Information about the course: This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to enter and work safely in a confined space. Target Audience: Anyone who may be required to enter or act as a standby for confined spaces and persons who may be required to utilise Breathing Apparatus. Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for: RIIWHS202E - Enter and Work in a Confined Space MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres MSMPER200 - Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit MSMWHS216 - Operate Breathing Apparatus This Nationally recognised course is delivered on behalf of and in Partnership with Health Security Education RTO 40907 Course duration: Face to Face: 16 hours (2 days) face to face training Important information regarding course durations: Course durations, as mentioned above, are reflective of group sizes of between 4 and 8 participants. If there are less students in a group, you may find course duration reduced. If a class size exceeds 8 participants it may therefore also be necessary to increase course duration depending on the number of participants.
