Information about the course: This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely enter and work in confined spaces, including the use of breathing apparatus where required. It covers confined space entry, permit requirements, atmospheric testing, working safely in an irrespirable atmosphere and the operation of breathing apparatus. Target Audience: Anyone who may be required to enter or work in confined spaces, perform a standby role, or use breathing apparatus as part of confined space operations. Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course Award issued: Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for: RIIWHS202E - Enter and Work in a Confined Spaces MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres MSMPER200 - Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit MSMWHS216 - Operate Breathing Apparatus This Nationally recognised course is delivered on behalf of and in Partnership with Health Security Education RTO 40907 Course duration: 16 hours (2 days) face to face training Course Location: Training can be delivered at your workplace or client site, or at a suitable external training venue arranged to meet course requirements.
